Muhammad is the sincere and honest mechanic you always hope to find but never do find. I was surprised when he did not want to drive my 2012 Mustang to check for steering vibration and told me that any mechanic that wants to drive my car just does so for fun. I instantly knew this man was dedicated to his craft and our friendship has grown since. I go every weekend to work on small projects for the car and he doesn't mind me using his space and tools. He is a unique person and has taught me some valuable life lessons too. There sure aren't many like him and I wish him all the success because of his sincerity which is hard to come by these days.
Great service. Much faster and MUCH cheaper than a certain Audi dealership in Alexandria. Mohammed is a Volvo specialist, but when I asked him how much experience he had with Audi's he said "40 years. Is that enough?" (Yup.) Car has been trouble free since going to him and he's saved me hundreds of dollars.

I hate taking my car to the mechanic, but this is definitely a hidden gem. I'll never go anywhere else in DC for work on my car (Mazda 3). There was a long list of little things wrong with my car. I went in on a Saturday afternoon with no appointment expecting to get my car back on Tuesday-ish. Ahmad was at my door looking at the car and asking how he could help before I had even stepped out. I had my own parts for some of the repairs, and he didn't even blink where many mechanics would refuse to use them. The car was up on a lift within 5 minutes (no joke) to look at the brakes. I don't know much about cars, so Ahmad explained everything and let me feel the grooves in the front rotors (yikes!). He also found some cheap workarounds to fix loose pieces of the car without replacing them. When I asked how long it would be, he hesitated and said "well, I have to wait for some of your parts to come in... It should be ready by 5:00." That was only 3 hours away. I've had tire changes take longer! They did great work for a great price in incredible time. Genuinely impressive.
