Nice small station that is close by the zoo. Many eateries upon exiting the metro station

Quite Crowded during rush hour.

Pretty clean station. Short walk to the Zoo

Continuing south, the next station after Van Ness is Cleveland Park. This station is not that deep for a rock tunnel stop, similar to Van Ness, around 80-90 feet. There is the standard 4 coffer vault and island platform.

The station serves the Cleveland Park neighborhood of D.C. There are entrances on both sides of Connecticut Ave. Strangely, this station is actually closer to the national zoo than the Woodley Park Zoo stop, so anyone trying to go to the zoo should use this stop instead.

Cleveland Park opened in December of 1981 as part of the Van Ness extension.
